Egyptský národní park Wadi El Gemal, který byl založen v r. 2003, zahrnuje kombinaci tří zcela rozdílných ekosystémů, pevninskou, pobřežní a mořskou část. Ačkoli se park rozprostírá na poměrně velkém území, nebyl člověkem výrazně změněn a do značné míry ho můžeme obdivovat ve zcela nedotčeném stavu. Mořská část parku je velmi atraktivní lokalitou díky svým ostrovům s korálovými útesy, jež nabízejí bujný podmořský život. Pobřeží Rudého moře zde zpestřují mělčiny a zátoky s mangrovovými porosty a ptactvem. Rozsáhlá vnitrozemská hornatá část parku je typická svými vádí, akáciemi a velbloudy.

Wadi El Gemal National Park was founded in 2003 and includes three completely different ecosystems (terrestrial, coastal and marine). Although the park occupies a large area, it has not been significantly changed by man and can be admired in almost original condition. The marine part of the park is a very attractive location, thanks to its islands with coral reefs that offer rich underwater life. The coast of the Red Sea consists of frequent shallows and bays with mangroves and birds. The large inland mountainous part of the park is characterized by wadi, acacia and camels.
